Statadventure Optimization Lab
AI supply chain software for inventory, procurement and landed cost
Planned AI tools, built on free calculators you can use today.
The Optimization Lab is where Statadventure is building AI supply chain software for inventory optimization, procurement analytics and landed cost decisions. Free calculators and Excel versions exist today; the AI versions are in development. See our procurement consulting, follow tariff and freight news on Supply Chain Watch, or read the Insights articles.
Planned AI tools for inventory, procurement and landed cost
Inventory and reorder optimizer
Safety stock, reorder point and EOQ (economic order quantity) for each SKU.
- Inputs
- Average demand, demand variability, supplier lead time, target service level, ordering and holding costs.
- Outputs
- Recommended safety stock, reorder point and order quantity, with the assumptions shown.
- Decision it supports
- When to reorder, and how much, so you balance stockouts against cash tied up in inventory.
Landed cost and tariff scenario planner
Total landed cost per unit, including duty, freight and fees, compared across sourcing scenarios.
- Inputs
- Unit price, freight, insurance, duty rate, fees, and a tariff pass-through assumption (the share of a tariff change you absorb versus pass to customers).
- Outputs
- Landed cost per unit and margin by scenario, side by side.
- Decision it supports
- Which supplier or country to buy from, and whether to reprice when tariffs change.
Procurement spend and supplier analyzer
Spend by category and supplier, price variance and supplier scorecards (cost, quality, delivery and risk).
- Inputs
- A purchase-order or spend export with supplier, item, quantity, price and date; optional delivery and quality records.
- Outputs
- Spend concentration, price variance by item, and a ranked supplier scorecard.
- Decision it supports
- Where to consolidate suppliers, renegotiate, or add a backup source.
Demand forecast assistant
A baseline forecast from sales history, with forecast error shown so you can judge it.
- Inputs
- Weekly or monthly sales history by item, plus known promotions or stock-outs.
- Outputs
- A baseline forecast, error measures such as MAPE, and a plain-language explanation of trend and seasonality.
- Decision it supports
- How much to plan, buy or produce for the next period.
Container and load planner
Carton-to-container fit and cost per unit shipped.
- Inputs
- Carton dimensions and weight, quantities, and container or truck type.
- Outputs
- Cartons per container, space and weight utilization, and freight cost per unit.
- Decision it supports
- Whether to ship a full container or consolidate, and how to pack to cut freight cost.
What AI does and does not do
What it is for
- Speeding up analysis of your own data
- Comparing scenarios side by side
- Explaining results in plain language
- Flagging unusual prices, demand or supplier patterns
What it does not do
- Replace your judgment or supplier relationships
- Predict tariff policy or disruptions
- Beat the quality of the data you provide
- Guarantee savings
How it works
Enter or upload the demand, cost or spend data you already have.
The tool runs the calculation and shows its assumptions.
Compare scenarios, then choose the plan that fits.

How is my data handled?
Not decided yet. Today’s free calculators run in your browser and the Excel tools run on your computer. Before any AI tool launches, we will publish a clear data and privacy policy.
How much will it cost?
Pricing is not set. Plans will be announced before launch, and waitlist members will hear first.
Who is it for?
Small and mid-size manufacturers, distributors and operations teams that want better inventory, procurement and supply chain decisions without a large software project.
Which tools can I use today?
The free web calculators and Excel tools on the free supply chain tools page. The AI versions are planned and none has launched.
How is it different from spreadsheets?
The Excel tools are a good starting point. The planned AI tools aim to add faster analysis, scenario comparison and plain-language explanations on your data. Features will be confirmed at launch.
