Supplier Traceability & Compliance Evidence Pack

Customers, importers and customs authorities increasingly ask where parts and materials come from. We organize your supplier and origin evidence so your broker, counsel or auditor can act. Fixed-price, scope confirmed after a free call.

Who it’s for

This pack is for importers of metals, electronics, textiles and other sectors that draw scrutiny, and for suppliers receiving customer ESG or EU-importer data requests.

  • Importers who cannot show sub-tier supplier evidence quickly.
  • Suppliers asked for material, origin or carbon data by a customer.
  • Teams answering the same data request by email, again and again.

What you get

We build the evidence structure and the habits to keep it current. We do not certify compliance.

  • A product-to-supplier-to-material map.
  • A document checklist for each supplier.
  • An evidence folder structure your team can maintain.
  • A supplier questionnaire template.
  • A request-response tracker for customer and customs requests.

How it works

1

Scope

We pick the products, suppliers and request types that matter most.

2

Map

We trace products to suppliers and materials from your BOMs and purchasing data.

3

Collect

We set up the checklist, folders and questionnaire, and start gathering documents.

4

Hand over

We train your team on the tracker and list the gaps for your broker, counsel or auditor.

Why now

Enforcement is moving from guidance toward detentions.

  • Holland & Knight reports that CBP detained 17,651 shipments under the UFLPA from FY2025 through April of FY2026 and denied entry to 10,959.
  • The same firm notes CBP’s June 9, 2026 guidance stresses pre-importation due diligence and complete sub-tier supplier evidence.

Customer data requests often flow down to suppliers, whether or not a rule applies to you directly.

Quick answers

Does this make us compliant?

No. We organize evidence so your broker, counsel or auditor can act. Compliance decisions stay with them.

Are we directly covered by these rules?

Possibly not. Many requests arrive from customers or importers rather than regulators. Your counsel can tell you which rules apply to you.

What if a supplier does not respond?

The tracker records the gap and the follow-up history. We cannot compel a supplier, but you will see exactly where evidence is missing.

Important note

Not legal advice. We do not make you compliant with UFLPA, CBAM, California SB 253 or any other rule. We organize your data and help you respond to customer data requests. Check with your customs broker or attorney.
