How We Work: Fixed-Price Manufacturing Consulting From Problem to Next Decision
Most consulting fails when the scope is vague. Our fixed-price manufacturing consulting is built to avoid that. The question, inputs, deliverables and timing are agreed before the work begins, and the engagement ends with something your team can use.
What fixed-price means here
Our pricing is fixed-price, with scope confirmed after a free call. After the call, we agree the exact work in writing before anything starts. You know what you are buying, what you will receive and when.
Step 1: Call (free, 30 minutes)
Bring one hard problem. We clarify what has to be decided, who owns the decision, what you already know and what data exists. If one of our service lines fits, we say which one. If it does not, we say that too.
Useful to bring: a short problem statement, the decision owner, any current reports, drawings or spreadsheets, and what you have already tried. A perfect data set is not required.
Step 2: Diagnose
We review the right data, walk the process where it matters, talk with the people who do the work and make the current state visible. Throughout, we separate facts, assumptions, options and open questions, so nobody confuses an estimate with a measurement.
Step 3: Execute
We build the practical artifacts that fit the scope. Depending on the service line, that may be:
Supply Chain
A tariff and supplier exposure map and 90-day action plan, a sourcing roadmap, or a planning cadence with inventory exception rules.
Operations
A current-state flow map, layout and process options, a 30-day action list, or an OEE loss structure.
AI Support
A KPI definition set, a dashboard prototype, a forecast baseline, or a shortlist of low-risk automation opportunities.
Step 4: Hand over a next step
You leave with owners, priorities, open questions and a sequence your team can evaluate and act on. Where the next step is a specialist, such as a customs broker, counsel, lender or equipment vendor, we hand over clear, organized questions rather than pretending to replace them.
Principles we work by
Start with the decision, not the tool
A dashboard, an AI idea or a layout drawing only helps if it supports a decision someone owns.
Right-size the scope
One product family, one line, one facility area, one supplier set or one project is a valid starting point.
Use what you already have
ERP exports, spreadsheets and shop-floor knowledge come first. New software is a later choice.
Responsible automation
If AI or automation is in scope, a human owner, a clear process and acceptable risk come first.
Honest limits
We do not guarantee savings, supplier outcomes or specific results, and we do not give legal or customs advice.
What a typical engagement looks like
Focused engagements typically run two to five weeks once scope and core inputs are confirmed. Related work can be sequenced afterward, for example from tariff exposure to supplier diversification, or from a flow diagnostic to a Lean and OEE routine.
